Elliot Goodell Ugalde wins NDP nomination in Kingston and The Islands

KINGSTON AND THE ISLANDS - New Democrats gathered to nominate Elliot Goodell Ugalde as their candidate in Kingston and the Islands for the provincial election. Elliot is a PhD student and his advocacy for housing and social justice extends beyond academia.

“I am honoured to be chosen as the candidate for Kingston and The Islands” said Elliot. “I have worked hard with and for my community, and believe I have what it takes to represent my riding at Queen’s Park. With Marit Stiles’ leadership and vision, I am ready to be the strong voice that Ontarians deserve to have, advocating for them and defending them.”

“Elliot represents a new generation of leadership,” said Marit Stiles, leader of the Ontario NDP. “He brings fresh ideas and a strong commitment to advocating for Kingston and The Islands, which we need at Queen’s Park. He is dedicated to fighting for affordable housing, improved healthcare services, and worker’s rights.
